Mumblings by Ruchika Pandit

Very intense.
Very dramatic.
Intelligent and fast paced.
The movie depicts the same event with the point of views of different people. It was like a multi-cam shoot for me!
Story unfolds with each p.o.v.
I liked the movie.

Reasons behind Aaj Tak showing the kind of stuff it shows:

1. Aaj tak caters to a particular strata of Indian society. It targets that group who is fed up of the hard core political news. Its target audience is the middle class person who wont think even once before changing the channel if he sees some boring shit about politicians.

2. The definition of news is changing. Earlier, news was all about politics and social issues. Now, news is all about what interests people, no matter if its Dhoni and his mane and his gals!

3. News has become business now. Its all about TRPs. If Aaj Tak is showing some crap about Indian idol and its contestants and getting 15% higher TRPs than NDTV, then why not to show this?
After all, Aaj tak is no NGO. Aaj tak has to feed a number of employees.
So, it has to decide its content according to the TRPs.

All the above three points are inter-related.
Personally, even I don’t want to see this kind of stuff on any news channel. But then, as we are told, this is just a period which will pass soon.
Time will soon come when I will watch Aaj Tak to catch up on some hard news!!

Well….lemme clarify this first…I talk and I talk a lot!!
But I am suffering from a very stupid problem these a days.
I find myself short of things to talk about. And this happens only when I am with this particular person. Otherwise I am a radio station in myself. I talk non-stop with when with my other friends. But with this friend…I am like ummm…ummm….ummmmm…..
The person is not a beast or something, but I think I am kinda scared of this person.
Scared in the sense that I dont want to annoy this person ( which i often do).
Any way…I think I should stop it here only….I need to go..mom is calling!!

Fine. I think I need to take some serious decisions at this point of time. Decisions that wont change. I know am really bad at doing this. But this time I am going to try it with all my will power.
I am fed up double standards people show.
From now onwards I will give my emotions a break. They really need to take some time off.
And from now onwards I will try to prioritize things a bit practically.
Lets see…..

I have some really nice people in my life. Just the idea of being around them bring a smile on my face.
They do not provide me with the solutions of my problems, they encourage me to face them.
They encourage me to have more patience.
They tell me how to be happy by ignoring things.
And yeah…they listen to all my cribbings. That’s a very brave job, I must say!
If I look back at the Ruchika of two years ago, then I realize that these people have made a huge difference in my life. And its a positive difference!!
I want to tell these people something- YOU ARE JUST AWESOME!

It was not for the first time that I experienced this kind of behavior from them. And it was not for the first time that i reacted in this manner! What happened was that i was kinda molested by a guy in the metro. And what I did was something I always do…I gave this person a tight slap! People standing around were a bit shocked..but then, I never give damn. What is more shocking is that as***le even didn’t has the sense to say sorry or something…he started arguing with me. It was getting out of my control….then a sensible looking uncle stood up from his seat and slapped this chap! Now it was his turn. He told me ” main dekh loonga”, and then he got down at the next station….and am still wondering that what will this guy “dekh lega”???
When I narrated the whole incidence to a friend, she told me not to create such scenes. You can never say about Delhi guys…they can do anything to take revenge. She tried to warn me…but what the heck?? I seriously do not posses something known as control or patience. And why should i tolerate these bloody bastards??
So…even after getting so called’ sensible’ advice from dear friend, Ruchika Pandit is not scared at all. She will keep doing what she is good at. She will keep beating the shit of these nasty , ugly and frustrated creatures.

The proposal says that the government will waive off all the debts on the farmers having less than 5 acres of land. If this is going to happen, then a whopping amount if Rs 60000 crore will be like wasted!!
Well…I will call it a vote bank move.
Today I was there at Confederation of Indian Industry at IHC.
Mr. Sunil Bharti Mittal addressed the press conference after the announcement of budget proposal.
His take on this proposal: I appreciate government’s move. But from where will it compensate for this amount of 60000 crore????
I ask the same question.
